Osaki & Business
The city of Osaki, is not so much growing up
as completely breaking out!
Osaki is part of “Tokyo's 7 newly-developed city center plan." It's said to be "the city that has the most advanced technology information." And at present, Osaki has a total of eight current major developments; three of which are near the Osaki station's East exit.
Osaki station is now a convenient hub in the rail network with major train lines going through Osaki station; Yamanote line, Saikyou line, Shounan-Shinjuku line, and Rinkai line. It also provides easy access to Haneda Airport through neighboring station Shinagawa. This makes Osaki a great place to drop off on the way somewhere else. Increasingly, business men and women choose Osaki as a base while they are in Tokyo, taking advantage of its great links, technology and connectivity, and the chance to stay at top hotel, The New Otani Inn Tokyo.
But it's not just the great bars and restaurants, hotels and transport links that attracts people to Osaki, the presence of major Japanese and International companies that have chosen Osaki as their base is a major attraction. Sony, Sanrio (head office), NSK (head office), Meidensha (comprehensive laboratory), Sankyo (research headquarters), Nikkan Keiba Shinbunsha (head office), Sumitomo Heavy Industries (head office), Kobe Steel Group (Tokyo's head office) and Mitsuura Printing Company (head office) have all found that Osaki can meet their needs. Adobe Systems, the world's top document solution software company and many other famous companies have set up nearby, and in ThinkPark itself, you'll find Puma Japan, Nippon Ham Group, Motorola and others.
Osaki has a truly international flavour with embassies such as The Colombian Embassy and The Thailand Embassy, basing themselves here. There are a couple of universities in Osaki, Rissho University and Seisen University, and as residential buildings are being built, so there are many people coming to Osaki, not just for work but to make their lives here.
The FooTNiK is the place to hang out with people who work, live and study in and around the Osaki area and who love soccer, drinking, music and interesting vibrant people.
